His wife was Ruth Irene Randel, who he married in Oklahoma. The date has not been found. They had no known children.

Note 1

Charles Alban Gossett was a minister of the Methodist Episcopal Church South. He had surgery for "stomach trouble" when he was 55 years old; moved to Hattiesburg, MS about 1914. Spent approximately 13 years as manager for the Hattiesburg Grocery Company.
