He died on 30 DEC 1950 in Edmond, Oklahoma, OK.

His wife was Ella Ratliff, who he married in Kentucky. The date has not been found. Their only known child was Mabel Kathleen (1908-1987).

Chester H Gossett is buried in Section 23, Lot 56, Grave #1, of Memorial Park Cemetery, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, OK. There is no marker on his grave. He is buried next to his wife, Ella Ratliff Gossett, in Grave #2 (she does have a marker). Their granddaughter, Ruth Shannon Fenn, is buried in Grave #5. Ella Ratliff Gossett OWNS the Section 23, and only family can be buried in any owner's section.
